Nottingham Music Hub
Nottingham Music Hub co-ordinates music provision with children, young people, schools and groups across Nottingham City. They were looking for a website that would enable them to deliver their vision that all children and young people in Nottingham have a rewarding and inspiring experience of making music with others. They wished to be able to add a variety of content onto the site and also enable their partners to update the site themselves.
The solution provided allows Nottingham Music hub to
- Update content in house, without technical knowledge anywhere
- Control menu structures and add menu items
- Add and update news & event items
- Select the news stories which appear on the homepage
- Add specific highlighted content and images to the homepage
- Create image galleries for events
- Post events and manage when and where they display
- Include downloadable documents and video content within pages
- Set tags or keywords for each page
Netready also assisted with branding and logo development, offline print material, helping to refine the site structure, ensuring the design has a youthful appeal and advising on organising and ordering site content.
The School Development Support Agency (SDSA) is an organisation that runs projects involving schools and young persons by working with the public sector. They obtain regional and national contracts for agreed projects, and invest grants in project’s infrastructure, personnel and time. Their portfolio work is large, as their team works within a range of children services, from Primary Schools to Foster Care.
Netready have worked with the SDSA on a number on-going projects since 2009. These projects include content managed websites and online web systems,most of which include bespoke features to suit theproject the SDSA is undertaking.
The CPD Leaders project supports workers in schools with their professional development. The SDSA required a website that would reach out to the employees so that they could provide access to resources and news. The previous website was dated, and required a large amount of maintenance to ensure it was kept up to date. Netready’s CMS solution is a sleeker site, that includes default options to ensure that content areas never remain empty. News sections that do not have recent articles will display third party Twitter feeds instead. Any empty content panels are hidden.
Titan Telecom was looking for a major update for its website, with the aim of increasing sales, user experience and improving the ability to manage its own websites in house, with a great degree of design flexibility.
The website promotes the company’s aggressively priced telecom, mobile and broadband solutions to primarily SMEs with a wide ethnic diversity. Often customers require simple, adaptable, portable solutions. This market is highly saturated so the netready provided a striking, easy to use site design that focuses on presenting all information in very few clicks so that users do not move onto a competitor before they have found what they require. Netready also provided image sourcing, to ensure the content appealed to the target market. The site encourages the user to contact the sales team and integrates with the company’s other back end systems and existing customer portals.

Netready had worked with Unicom’s head marketing and brand consultant on a site for another company in the past and he was so impressed with the adaptability and usability of our CMS and the design and technical services that we had provided that he returned to Netready to work with Unicom.
This site appeals to SMEs but those looking to spend a little more money on their telecom service. The site highlights Unicom’s high level of customer service and is very scalable to enable Unicom to include additional future electrical and gas services that the company wishes to integrate within the website at a later date
EMIN required a new content managed website with a large range of features to promote their business development services and a bespoke online tool to assess business viability.
Netready created a standard compliant content managed website of over five hundred pages. The site boasts a wealth of features, including news and events areas, a business directory, a RSS feed and tenders section. Netready also created a unique system for the site to allow users to access business viability. The Skills Assessor allows EMIN to create assessment criteria which then gives scoring and advice based on information entered. The Skills Assessor has proved popular on the site and is an intuitive way to deliver advice relevant to each unique user. The site has over 2500 members who can access a variety of password protected content.
